I went to school with Elias. He was quiet, but always had time to greet you pleasantly. I send my condolences to his family. I am sure he will be missed.

I am 1 of many nephews of Elias Brown. I grew up knowing him as Uncle Bucket. I was stunned to hear of is sudden passing and saddened that I was unable to fly back east to be with family. I will miss my uncle greatly and am glad that his suffering is over. This man was a fixture at family events and functions, he was a maternal nephew to the great Narragansett runner Ellison "Tarzan" Brown, and he was a father who loved being a father. Rest In Peace, Uncle Bucket. You will always be remembered.
