Alfred V. "Bud" Maloy, 69, born, January 27, 1943 and passed away after a brave battle with cancer on December 13, 2012 in Columbus, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ruby; sister, Erma "Sis"; and brother, Donald "Buck".

Bud is survived by his soul mate of 26 years, Sue Copley; a son; a granddaughter; a favorite aunt; several nieces and nephews as well as Sue's extended family.

Graduated from Waverly HS in 1961; proudly served four years in the United States Air Force; was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed golf, football and other sports. Bud was loved by many for his smile, sense of humor and best known for his BUD hat. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside Funeral Service and Military Honors PENDING FOR Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1pm at Omega Cemetery, Omega, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud's memory to any cancer research or support facility of your choice.
