ARTHUR EARL HARLEY
Mr. Arthur Earl Harley, 80, of Swansea, SC, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home Chapel in North with the Rev. Ellis "Cook" Addy officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery near North.
Mr. Harley was born in Lexington County, a son of the late Charles Joseph Harley and Annie Ethel Harley. He was a retired carpenter and served in the Marines in World War II.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Emily Chavis Harley of Swansea; three daughters, Helen Martin of Orangeburg, Shirley H. Kitchings of Springfield, and Jackie Taylor of Swansea; a son, Sam Harley of Pelion; two sisters, Margaret Lloyd of West Columbia, and Vivian Inabinet of Cayce; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North was in charge of the arrangements.
