"Peter G. Bollinger, 80, of 1308 Blue Mountain Drive, Danielsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Merle E. (Eddins) Bollinger.

He was a supervisor at the former New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton.

Born in Aquashicola, he was a son of the late Francis G. and Edith L. (Reinhart) Bollinger.

He was a member and a former Sunday school teacher and trustee of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquashicola.

He was a legislative chairman of the Northern Lehigh chapter of American Association of Retired Persons.

He was an Army veteran.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Carolyn L., wife of Howard O. Steinmeyer of West Chester, Chester County; son, David F. of Schnecksville; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Hook of Palmerton, and three grandchildren.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Sunday in the church. No calling hours. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.
