Wanda was born to Fannie Pelt Braswell and Barney Braswell. She was an only child.
Her grandparents on her Mother's side were John W. Pelt & Alice Wilkes Pelt.
Her grandparents on her father's side were Lonnie Wilson Braswell (1886 - 1957) and Mary Asbury Little Braswell (1892 - 1948)
Wanda never had children but always said my children were also her's. Her mother lost her husband and daughter so close together. I think her Mother kind of gave up to a degree after Wanda died. Wanda's Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and died in a nursing home.
Wanda was my life long friend, we were closer than most sisters. We did everything together, went everywhere together. You hardly ever hear of a friendship that last from childhood into adulthood. I was blessed with a rare friendship that most people will never know. I was with her when she took her last breath from her battle with cancer. I'll always miss her.

Those we love remain with us...
In the whisper of the wind
In a soft rain that falls from Heaven
In each sunrise
In every single star that lights the night sky and
In every single memory we hold within our hearts.
