Funeral services for Dave Junior Dorman, 50, who lived northwest of Shamrock the past eight years, were conducted at Shamrock Church of Christ, Wednesday, December 12, 1973, at 2:30 p.m. with Minister James Douglas, pastor, officiating.
Dave died at 7:00 o'clock Monday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Pallbearers were James Verden of Wheeler, Archie Hibler of Wheeler, W.D. Thompson, Mangum, R.C. Carey, Pampa; O.O. Tate, Clyde Brown, Gene Henley and Billy Bailey, all of McLean.
Interment was in Shamrock Cemetery with Richerson Funeral Home in charge.
Born October 22, 1923, at Dozier, he had lived in Pampa, Amarillo and Mangum, and had moved back to the Shamrock area eight years ago.
Mr. Dorman was a farmer and a veteran having served in World War II with the Navy Seabees.
He and Belva Louise Jones of Amarillo were married in Clovis, New Mexico on October 1, 1941.
He is survived by his wife and two sons: David Lee, 15, and Ronald Dale 13, of the home; two sisters: Mrs. L.C. Blandford of Canyon and Mrs. R.Q. Carver of 1301 Bluebell, Amarillo; six brothers: Bus of Wheeler, Bud of Mangum, Okla; B.F. of Pampa, Charles of Grand Junction, Colorado, Jerry of Amarillo; Don of Vega.
