Erna Rose Flerlage Kreft "Mommie Annie", 97, of Waldorf, MD, died October 7, 2011 at her residence. Born July 22, 1914 in Waldorf, MD, she was the daughter of August Flerlage and Helen Margaret Janssen Flerlage. "Mommie Annie", as she was affectionately called, was a homemaker her entire life. A lifetime member of St. Mary's Church, Bryantown, MD, "Annie" was noted for her sauerkraut and cole slaw served at church dinners. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Bryantown and loved to garden.

"Annie" was predeceased by her husband, Anthony L. Kreft; sons, Anthony J. Kreft and Paul A. Kreft; brothers, Bill, Herman, August, Karl, Alfred and Henry Flerlage; sister, Clara Mary Flerlage. She is survived by her sister, Clara A. Gardiner and daughter-in-law, Catherine J. Kreft.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Rory T. Conley at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Gardiner, Francis Gardiner, Michael Gardiner, David Vennemann, Drew Hooten and Michael Kreft.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD 20617 or Hospice of Charles County, P.O. Box 1703, LaPlata, MD 20646.
