William George Kale was born on March 11, 1975 in Little Beaver, PA the 3rd of ten children of John N. & Elmira J. (Marshall) Kale. He had siblings Marshall, James, Minnie, Edith & Nina who became adults. Harry, Wilma, Anna likely died in childhood and an unnamed female was likely stillborn.
He appeared with his parents in the 1880 Unity Twp., Columbiana cnty, OH census and siblings, Arthur (9) Minnie (6), Edith (3) and Marshall (1).
William was 26 when he married Geneva Flory, she was 23, on June 27, 1901 in Lakewood, OH. They were married by Pastor G. W. Huddlesto of the Detroit St. Methodist Church.
His son Lawrence was born on Aug. 4, 1902 and Lesterr was born on Sept. 7, 1909.
They had been married 39 years when Neva passed away on Jan. 22, 1940 at their home on State Rd. in Parma from a heart attack. He was living at the Ridgecliff Sanitarium for three years prior to he death.
William was 74 whe he passed away Aug. 11, 1949 from heart failure due to arteriosclerosis and is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, Sec. 6, lot 351, grave 2, north grave, along with his wife Neva.

KALE, William G. 63, widowed, born in Penna., a foreman in an auto repair shop and housekeeper, Maria Foster 60, a widow, were living at 5462 State St. in Parma, Ohio.

2. 1930 CENSUS, CLEVELAND, CUYAHOGA, OH, 27 Apr 1930.
KALE, William 55, born in Penna, an assembler in a tool company, Neva 51, born in Kansas, sons Lawrence 27, district supervisor at the telephone company and Lester 22, a cable tester at the telephone company, were living at 5462 State Rd. in Parma.

3. OBIT: CLEVELAND PRESS, 13 Aug 1949.
WILLIAM G. KALE, husband of the late Neva; father of Lawrence G. & Lester W.; brother of Mrs. Edith Schweitzer & Mrs. Nina Ballantyne and grandfather; passed away Thursday, Aug. 11; former residence, 5462 State Rd., Parma. Friends may call at the G. H. Busch & Son Funeral Home, 4334 Pearl Rd., where services will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, at 3 pm.

4. OHIO DEATH CERTIFICATE, LAKE COUNTY; FILE NO 50469
WILLIAM G. KALE, former residence 5462 State Rd., Parma, OH, widowed, a retired machinest, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Aug. 11, 1949 from arteriosclerosis and heart failure at age 74 years, 5 months at the Ridgecliff Sanitarium in Wickliffe where he spent the last three years.
Informant was son, Lawrence Kale, residing at 7703 Ivandale Ave, Parma, OH. He stated his father was born in Schuylkill County, Penna on March 11, 1875. His parents were John and Almira Kale, both born in Penna. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland on Aug. 13, 1949.
