Bernie Jo Madeley, 78, of Keller died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at her home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City. Interment: Center Point Cemetery in Fannin County. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City. Mrs. Madeley was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Ladonia to Heishel Apple and Thelma Owens Apple. She married Herbert B. Madeley on Aug. 14, 1953, in Ladonia. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Keller. Mrs. Madeley worked as a secretary and a real estate agent for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Her husband of 59 years, Herbert B. Madeley of Keller; daughters, Debbie Cullum and husband, Jim, of Trophy Club and Cheryl Vallie-Porter and husband, Leland, of Midland; grandchildren, Billy Vallie, Megan Johnson, Holly Bergstrom and Wes Cullum; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Audie Apple.
