Daniel C. Davis, 90, of Gardenia Road,Sebring, Fla.,died Tuesday at Highland Regional Medical Center.

Born in Clay, W.Va., he lived 17 years in Odessa and 49 years in Union Springs before moving to Sebring in 1996. He owned Davis Brothers Apiaries for many years and was named Beekeeper of the Year during the 1980s by the Empire State Beekeepers Association. He was a member of Warren Lodge, F&AM, of Union Springs and a former member of Union Springs United Methodist Church.

His wife, Miriam L., died in 1996.

Services: To be announced in the spring. Burial, Highland Cemetery, Odessa. No calling hours. Shakelton Funeral Home, Aurora, has arrangements.
