February 21, 1928 - October 14, 2012 On Sunday, October 14, 2012, Walter Krafchuk beloved husband of Myrna Krafchuk, Balcarres, SK. passed away at the age of 84 years.
The funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lebret, SK. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. by the Rev. Louis Kim Nguyen.
Interment in Balcarres Cemetery.
Walter was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Mary Krafchuk and one brother George. Walter is survived by his loving wife Myrna, two daughters; Karen (Terry) Smith and Colleen (Terry) Falkenberg, five grandchildren; Jocelyn, Matthew and Kate Smith, Lucas and Evelina Falkenberg, one brother Bill (Elaine) Krafchuk, one sister, Jean (Vern) Reese and one sister-in-law Jane Krafchuk and also his nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jan Lombard and the staff at the All Nations Healing Hospital, Dr. Garbe, Dr. Sheikh, Dr. Richardson and the staff in Unit 3F at the Regina General Hospital as well as Jill Currie-Noble the Balcarres home-care nurse for all of their care and kindness during Walterís illness.
Also, a special thank you to Bev and Archie Esplin and John and Colleen Seidl who were always there to lend a helping hand.
