CARTERET — Funeral services for Adam J. Leschinski, 119 Emerson Street, who died unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, were held on Tuesday 2:00 P.M. at the Lyman Rumpf Funeral Home, 21 Locust Street, Carteret. Services were offered in the First Presbyterian Church at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. H. Addison Woestemeyer officiating. Interment was in Cloverleaf Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Mr. Leschinski was a life long resident of this community and had been manager of the Miller Marine Motors Co., Linden for the past 12 years. A World War II veteran, he received the Purple Heart and Silver Star.

The deceased was a licensed pilot and was long active in aviation circles.

Surviving are his widow, Virginia Price Leschinski; twin daughters; Dawn and Gwyn and a son, Robert, all of the home address; his mother, Mrs. John Butkowski of Carteret; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Hamorski of Carteret and Mrs. Anthony Piegaro of Newark; three brothers, Albert of Los Angeles, Calif. and Vincent and Charles, both of Carteret.
