Norwegian Royalty. Born in Stockholm, Sweden and died in Oslo, Norway. She was a Bernadotte princess at birth, daughter of Prince Carl of Sweden-Norway and his Princess Ingeborg from Denmark. Märtha was later Crown Princess of Norway as married to future King Olav V. Mother of Princess Ragnhild Alexandra, Princess Astrid Maud Ingeborg and King Harald V of Norway. Died from a long illness three years before her husband ascended the throne as king.
