John Jones, 70, a resident of West End, and the owner of much Whitehall Street business property, was thrown from his buggy and killed when the vehicle ran into a ditch near his home on February 17th. He was the father of Senator Reuben Jones and of Otis Jones, well-known Atlantans. He rests in Oakland.
