Rosa was admitted to the asylum from Durham, NC where she worked as a domestic. She was hospitalized 1 yr 7 mo 2 days and died of phthisis pulmonalis (tuberculosis) and insanity.

It appears she is the daughter of Henry Patterson and Eva Lewis. She is a sister to Blanch, Arthur, Kate, Ida and Cornelia. Arthur would also be in care here at the asylum (he is seen in the 1920 census here). Cornelia died at age 19 of lues (syphilis).
