American-born Dolores Janney Rivera Saavedra, better known as Jenni Rivera and 'The Diva of Banda', released her first studio album in 2003 with 'Homejane A Las Grandes' and went on to sell over 15 million albums worldwide in the banda and nortena genre. In 2008, the Latin Grammy-nominated artists tenth studio album became her first number-one album on Billboards Top Latin Albums chart in the United States. In 2010, she appeared in and produced the reality TV show 'Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C', featuring her oldest daughter Janney Marin and appeared on the TV show 'I Love Jenni'. Rivera worked as coach in the second season of the Mexican version of the talent show 'La Voz... Mexico' based on the 'The Voice' TV series. She was also a successful entrepreneur with a clothing line, perfume and cosmetics lines, music and realty companies and also established The Jenni Rivera Love Foundation.
