Edward was the Tenth child of John and Amanda (Webb) Holloway, and the Grandson of William and Mary (Pitman) Webb of Ohio. He was an engineer in a hotel in Indianapolis Indiana before he got sick and died of Heart Disease. He died at his Mother's room at 44 years old and unmarried, at Somerville Flats of Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana.
