Clyde A. Hayes, 67, 1399 Main St., Phoenix died in St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday Jan. 6th. He had been a patient in the hospital since Monday. He was born in Guild Hall, Vt. and resided in Phoenix most of his life. He was a retired machinist from the Phoenix Gage Co. He was a member of Calimachus Lodge #369, F. & A M and the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Bessie Shaver Hayes; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Murray of Phoenix and five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday in the Funeral Home. Spring interment will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
