CAROLINA STREICH BROWN, 88, of Houston died on Friday, November 5,1999. Mrs. Brown, the daughter of Joseph William and Agatha Mary Haby Streich, was born on October 7, 1911 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Houston Downtown, where she was a member of the Quillian Sunday School Class, and also was a member of the Methodist Women's Organization. Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving husband, George Garrison Brown; her niece, Leah Decker Dunaway of Houston and other nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 8, 1999 at The Settegast-Kopf Funeral Directors, 3320 Kirby Drive. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 9, 1999 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Frederick Marsh officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
