Mary Catherine Edwards, 84, of Fulton, died February 14, 1937 at her home.
Dr. A. Ferguson, of Fulton, prononced death caused by Carcinoma of the Stomach with Metastasis. The informant was Mabel Berry of Fulton.
Mary was born December 18, 1852, in Arkansas, the daughter of John Newton and Hannah (Giles) Reynolds. She was united in marriage to Edgar Lewis and he preceeded her in death on June 2, 1911. Mary was a housewife.
Arrangements were under the care of Leo G. Wallace of Fulton. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetary.

Mrs.Mary C. Edwards of Fulton has given $19,200 to William Woods College and to be known as the E.L. and Mary C. Edwards trust fund.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Edwards were much interested in the college and several young ladies have been able to procure an aducation at William Woods College through their aide.

Officers and friends of William Woods College are feeling in the right mood for Thanksgiving as Mrs. E.L. Edwards has just given the college her residence property on Jefferson Street, valued at $4000.00. This was given as was her other gift, an annuity plan. She had previously given the college property valued at $1900.200, so with the latest gift she has given $23000.200 to the college.
