He married Margaretha (Unknown) and they had several children. Each of his sons was given the middle initial "C", which stood for their father's name.

1. Christian, b. abt. 1734, Montgomery Co., NY, married Christina Richtmeyer in 1765 in Stone Arabia. About 1795 he married Rebecca Hayes. Christian was a Captain in the Revoluntionary War. Christian had at least two sons - John C., Conrad, born between the years 1769 and 1784.

2. Conrad, b. abt. 1736, d. 06 Aug 1777 at the Battle of Oriskany.

3. Adam, b. abt. 1738, m. Anna about 1755.

4. Henry, b. abt. 1740, Montgomery Co., NY, married a woman identified only as "the widow House," on a prisoner-of-war list. Henry died before 1780.

5. George, b. abt. 1742 married ?

6. Catharine, b. abt. 1744; m. Johannes/John Schmidt/Smidt.
