Note: In his notebook Joseph wrote: "Philadelphia, Nov. ye 30 dy, 1715, on Wednesday aboute a quartetr Past twelve in the afternun My Most Dere and well Beloved Wife Rebecca Claypool Dyed, at my house in Wallnut Streete and was Buried in ye auld Bering Bround by My Relations and on Saterday Dec. ye 17 dy, 1715, I had my Dau Mary Removed from ye Church yard and Laid in My Wife's Grave With her."
