Ida Vesti Irons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Irons of Guymon, Oklahoma, was born November 11, 1891 at Sharpsburg, Iowa, died April 28, 1927, at Range, Oklahoma, age 35 years, 5 months and 17 days.
With her parents she moved to Geary, Oklahoma, in 1901, residing there until 1906; the moved to this part of the state and has lived near Range, Oklahoma, most of the time since.
She was united in marriage to Daniel E. Dean on December 4, 1910. To this union were born three children, Evelyn, Frank and Ernest, all of whom survive.
She was converted into the Christian faith when but a child, and Jesus Christ has been the central factor in her life ever since. She was baptized at the age of sixteen. She was faithful to whatever work should come her way; in Sunday school, church and Christian Endeavor. She has been a faithful leader in her community, and has been a kind, faithful loving companion and mother; always having a pleasant smile and a kind word for everybody.
She leaves to mourn her death: a husband and three children, father, and mother, three brothers and five sisters; which are: husband D.E. Dean; daughter Evelyn; sons, Jack and Ernest; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Irons, Guymon, Oklahoma; Mrs. J.C. Deaver, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; M.E. Irons, Gashland, Missouri; Mrs. Mary McClure, Caldwell, Idaho; L.W. Irons, Newton, Kansas; Mrs. Lon Woodrum, Hardesty, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lew Armstrong, Athol, Missouri; L.S. Irons, Liberal, Kansas, and Mrs. Ruth Woodrum, Guymon, Oklahoma, and a host of relatives and friends. The following brothers and sisters could not be here: Mrs. J.C. Deaver, M.E. Irons, Mrs. Mary McClure and Mrs. Lew Armstrong.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Stegall of the Baptist Church of Guymon, Oklahoma. The body was laid to rest in the Guymon cemetery.
