GRANITE FALLS - Mary Jennings, 72, of Granite Falls died Thursday at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Ganite Falls with the Rev. Bill Sprigler officiating. Burial will be in the Appleton City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls and one hour prior to services at the church. Wake services will be at about 9 p.m. today at the church, following the regularly scheduled mass.
She was born Dec. 25, 1924, in Benson to Max and Margaret (Conaty) Trager. She graduated from Benson High School before attending Normal School in Ortonville.
On June 28, 1947, she was married to Gordon Jennings in Benson. The resided in the Appleton area for many years, eventually moving to Granite Falls. She was a school teacher.
She was a member and past secretary of St. Andrew Catholic Church CCW. She as also a former member and secretary for the Square Dance Club and the Homemakers Club.
She is survived by her husband of Granite Falls; her son Mark (and Dorothy) of Minneapolis; two granddaughters; and her sister Stacey (and John) Elfelt of Anoka.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
