Jennifer L. Bryant, 29, of Martha Street, New Castle, died Thursday, January 6, 2010 in New Castle.

She was born in New Castle on May 11, 1981, a daughter of the late David Watt and Debbie Cornelius Bradley. Her mother survives in Edinburg.

Miss Bryant worked at Heraeus Electro-Nite in Ellwood City for 12 years in product assembly.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Niko Bryant, Nevaeh Hoon, and Bobby Hoon, all at home,

one sister, Nicole Watt of Edinburg, her step-father, Richard Bradley of Edinburg, and grandparents, Jean Guntrum of Butler, Joyce Rigotti of New Castle, and Richard Cornelius of Mercer. She was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis Watt.


NEW CASTLE — A Shenango Township woman died in a a one-car accident yesterday afternoon on Interstate 376 near the Mitchell Road exit.

Jennifer Lynn Bryant, 29, of rear 2019 Martha St. and two children were passengers in a vehicle operated by Robert Wayne Hoon, 28, also of rear 2019 Martha St.

According to state police, Hoon was westbound on the interstate at 2:30 p.m. when his car ran off the right side of the road. It began to spin and crossed the highway before striking a guardrail on the left side of the road.

The vehicle then rolled several times, finally coming to rest on its roof on the left side of the interstate's eastbound lanes.

Hoon and Bryant both were ejected.

Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene. Hoon and the children, a 2-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl, were transported to Jameson Hospital. Their conditions were not available.

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 376 between the Mitchell Road exit and entrance ramps remained closed more than three hours after the crash. All eastbound traffic was forced to exit onto Mitchell. Drivers wishing to continue on the interstate were allowed to use the eastbound entrance ramp to bypass the crash site.
