Harriet 1st married John Howard Rames [Reams-Rhems], sometime before 1839, when their first children was born. She married 2nd to Moses Day abt 1855.

The Rames surname is also spelled Reams - Rhems, in records.

She was the daughter of Curtis Lafayette & Mary "Polly" [Crow} Morris. Her father was a War of 1812 Veteran of Virginia.

John & Harriet had 5 children:
Sarah Louisa Reams White, William M Reams killed in the Civil War, Lee M Reams, Mary Ann Reams White, and John Howard "Seth" Reams.

Moses and Harriet had 3 children:
Harriett Day, Eliza Day, Moses Jr Day.

Her known siblings were:
Seth, Ann, Lee, Mahala, George B, Robert B, Nancy, Brunette, and Narcissa Morris.

We have not located either husbands grave sites.

Two of John and Harriet's children, Lee & John "Seth" were members of a post confederate civil war group, that became known as the Cullen Baker Gang.
