Due to a neural collapse which (had) tied her to the sickbed for quite a long time, Mrs. Auguste Krieger, wife of Mr. August Krieger sen. of 835 Buffum St, died on Thursday evening. The deceased was nearly 67 years old
and came from the Oberlausitz. She immigrated as early as in the 1830s to Wisconsin and married Mr. Krieger. on Aug 22nd 1852. In 1855, the couple moved to Kiel, where Mrs. Krieger was the second woman to take up residence in this settlement. In 1891, the spouses returned to Milwaukee, where they could celebrate in August their golden wedding. She is survived by her husband as well as by ten children, six sons and four daughters, most of them married.
