WORLD WAR II
After graduating from high school in 1941 he enlisted in the United States Navy.
He served on the U.S.S Charles Ausburne from 1942 to 1946 and received a Presidential Unit Citation for extraordinary heroism in action.
He was an electrician by trade retiring in 1883. He enjoyed singing, poetry, collecting model antique cars and working in his yard.
He was survived by his wife Sybil Mae Hall.
