Pelham William Warren, 78, of West Lakeview Drive, Temple, died April 24, 2002. (Note: obituary says wife was Reba Couch but
marriage book says he married Reba Carroll.)
Mr. Warren was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Carroll County, son of the late George Warren and the late Mrs. Exie Stone Warren. He was a retired policeman having served in Villa Rica for 19 years. He was a veteran.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Reba Couch Warren; brothers, Alvey Warren, Glad Warren, Andrew Warren, Rufus Warren, Fred Warren and Luther Warren; and a sister, Willie Mae Vincent. Survivors include a sister, Erma Stone of Carrollton, brother, Allen Warren of Carrollton, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Dr. Gene Rainwater officiating. Burial will follow at the Carrollton City cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Warren, Doyal Warren, Lowell Chambers, Dave Whisenhunt, Clifford Barnes and Mike Stone. Serving as honorary escort will be the present and former members of the Villa Rica Police Department. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
