DANLEY, Arthur, CSA Co. A, 3rd Mississippi Infantry,
Scranton, Miss., June 7-
ARTHUR DANLEY, a native of Santa Rosa, Fla., from which place he removed to Mississippi in 1851, died this morning at his home, in Pascagoula, in the 78th year of his age.
Mr. Danley, was a Confederate veteran, serving during the entire four years of the war.
He was a member of Company A, Third Mississippi Infantry, and, among his surviving comrades bore the reputation of a gallant soldier. He was thrice wounded, and for several months was a prisoner in Camp Chase, Ohio.
He leaves his wife, four sons and three daughters; Frank, John, Arthur and Epps; Mrs. Reuben Whatley, Mrs. Dudley Trehern and Mrs. Robert Grant.
