Cremation has taken place with Smith-Olcott Funeral Chapel of Red Lodge in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her three children from her marriage to Joseph Nose, Jr.: Del (Becky) Nose of Cody, Wyo., Darrell (Carla) Nose of Belfry, and Joette (Richard) Brown of Great Falls. She was preceded in death by her other two sons from her marriage to John Linderman: Walt (Dorothy) Linderman and Chuck Linderman.
Margaret will be missed by her many grandchildren: Jay Linderman, Vicki Brass, Jenny Davidson, Jimmi Marie Silva, J.D. Nose, Peggy Jo Nose, Jolene Nose, Kim Nose, Justin Jarrett, Lindsay Hendrix, and Ashley Brown. Several nieces and nephews and great -grandchildren also survive.
Margaret was born on Oct. 25, 1914 in Billings, a daughter of Frank and Fern Holland. She was raised in Belfry and lived most of her life there and in the surrounding area.
Her children and grandchildren greatly loved listening to her stories about growing up in the mountains and living in the Belfry/Red Lodge area.
She also enjoyed telling of her women's basketball playing days in Belfry and how her high school team won state three years in a row.
One of her many talents that she was known for was her ability to cook which led to a renowned reputation at various eating establishments in the area. There was nothing more enjoyable for her than having a house full of friends and family to cook for.
She enjoyed her life and most notably her family. In her last days, nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than holding the next generation of the family in her arms. Mikayla, Braden, Jace, Zack and Miah were a source of great joy to her.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Evergreen Laurel Health & Rehab Center whose staff spent so much time making the last years of Margaret's life comfortable and enjoyable.
