Mable Byrd Denton, age 91, of Newport, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, May 18, 2011.
She was a member of English Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husbands Earnest Denton and Earl Denton, parents Luella and Andrew Byrd, brothers Fred, Earl, and Doyle Byrd, sisters Illa, Thelma, and Alma Byrd, daughter Francis Dianna Denton Seal, and three grandchildren Dewayne Gray, Keith Butler, and Sandy Gray.
She is survived by her daughters Nedra Butler and Fayetta Gray; son-in-law Doyle Seay; sister Edith Britt; brother Cornelious Byrd; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Jackie Baxter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Frank Bell officiating with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Manes Funeral Home.
