Visitation for Everett Wayne Hall, age 80, of Jacksonville will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Immediately following visitation, a graveside service will be held in Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Barbara Hugghins officiating.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Hall passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, in Tyler.
He was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Troup.
Mr. Hall retired as vice president from SESCO (acquired by TXU) after 42 years of service, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. His community activities include: past president of the American Cancer Society of Cherokee County, Jaycees, Data Processing Managers Association of East Texas Chapter, Jacksonville Masonic Lodge past master, member of Sharon Temple Shrine, Kiwanis Club and Rotary Club. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, loved his family, travel, golf, genealogy, hunting, caring for his yard and volunteering in various community activities.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Opal Murphy and Pearline Derrington; and son-in-law, Carl Tennison.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters and a son-in-law; a son and daughter-in-law; four grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law; a brother and sister-in-law; and brother-in-law.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Lee, Charles Broadway, Charles Bratz, John Barton and Kenneth Melvin.
