Miss Dorothy Mercer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mercer
of New Petersburg, and Mr. Woodrow Perry, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Perry of New Vienna, were married Sunday morning at 8 o'clock at the home of Rev. Frank Milner.
Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Baker. The young couple are making their home at the present time with his mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Fay M. West and family, Mrs. Elizabeth Perry and Mr. Frank Losey spent Sunday afternoon in the home of C. B. Mercer of Hillsboro visiting Mrs. Woodrow Perry. Mrs. Perry is leaving the latter part of January for a brief visit with her husband Pvt. Woodrow Perry,
who is now stationed at Patterson, N. J.

Obituary
Dorothy E. Perry, 81, of Piqua, died Thursday (April 27,2000) at her residence. Her husband, Lawrence Woodrow Perry, whom she married Aug. 17, 1941, died in 1967. She was born April 28, 1918 in Highland County, daughter of Charles and Bertha Johnson Mercer.
She was a member of the Fall Creek Friends Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan (Steve) Pfister of Piqua, Jackie (Larry) Vanzant of Sturgis, Michigan
and Sandy (Mike) Courtney of Wilmington; a son, Steve (Tara) Perry of Piqua, 10 grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren and a brother, Herman Mercer, of Hillsboro. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in
death by two sons, Robert L. and Dennis Perry, three brothers, Kenneth, Wilbur and Norman Mercer and
three sisters, Doris Koch, Fay McConnaughey and Virginia Kerns.
