Miss Edna E. Barnhart of 203 Atlantic Ave. West Pittston, died at the home of her brother, Donald of 112 Spring St., West Pittston. She was the daughter of the late Frank M. and Isabel (Bray) Barnhart.
She was a graduate of West Pittston HS and received her musical training at Wyoming Seminary, Kingston and at St. Louis, MO. She was previously employed at the Celotex Corp. Miss Barnhart was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ where she served as organist and choir director for a number of years. She was also a member of the Senippah class of the church.
She is survived by brothers, Murray F. and Donald D. Barnhart, both of West Pittston; aunt, Edna Ruggles, Forty Fort; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Malcolm E. Barnhart.
