I believe her parents were James and Sarah (Honea) Fannin. She married Latimore Edmondson in 1875. She married quite young. They had three children: William Latimore, Elizabeth "Bettie", and Sarah Belle Edmondson. Belle then married Hiram "Rocky" Lunsford. Together, Belle and Rocky had at least two children: W.L./Benjamin Lunsford (who later changed his name to Frank Alva Stone) and May Lunsford.
Belle married John/Jack I. Reynolds (born in Pennsylvania) after Mr. Lunsford's death. Together Belle and Jack had one child, Elmer Ellsworth Reynolds. Elmer later became a police detective in El Paso for a time. Although the census showed that Belle and John were married and living together in 1900 and 1910, newspaper records seem to indicate that Belle bought several property lots and built at least one house in her own name. Belle and Jack divorced in 1911, but in census records, she claimed to be widowed. She apparently owned several pieces of property in the early 1900s, which she rented out. Belle continued to live with her son, Elmer, for several years. After Elmer and his wife divorced, he left El Paso for California and left his young son, Elmer Earl, with Belle.
In her elder years, Belle's health deteriorated. She may have suffered from dementia, as the court declared her incompetent and assigned a guardian. This guardian sold her properties in the year or two before her death. It is curious as to why her obituary only mentioned 1 living child, as I believe 5 of her 6 children were still alive when she passed away.
Jack died at the El Paso Poor Farm and is buried in a pauper's cemetery.
