Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with visitation following from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born January 25, 1936, in Quincy, IL, she was the daughter of the late Leo Hildebrand and Sylvia Ridder Hildebrand. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Quincy. On February 23, 1957, she married Joseph Sanders who survives of the home. She had lived in Marshall since 1978, moving from Quincy, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar & Rosary Society. She worked at Sturhahn Jewelers in Quincy, Esser & Sturhahn Jewelers in Marshall, retiring from Mo. Valley Physicians in Marshall. She was a member of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, American Business Women's Association and Red Hatters Society. She loved to play bridge and bingo.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Teresa Callahan and husband Tony of Kennebec, SD; four grandchildren, Aaron, Lindsay and Meghan Callahan and Quinten Failor; one sister, Delores Obert of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet L. Failor; two brothers, James Hildebrand and LeRoy Hildebrand; and three sisters, Bonnie Middendorf, Julie Hildebrand and Virginia Dietrich.
