Beverly May Nelson, age 79, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley.
Beverly was born May 26, 1933 in Bedford, Iowa to Newton and Edna (Reed) Aldredge. Beverly graduated from the T. J. High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was married to Donald Wesley Nelson, April 16, 1955 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They resided in Missouri Valley since 1965. Donald passed away January 29, 2011. Beverly enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, music, ceramics, crafts, crocheting and sewing.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, brothers, Marvin and Jimmy, sons-in-law, Tom Stricklett and Randy Trisdale.
Survivors include her daughters: Debra Elvers and husband Gary; Judy Lager and husband Raymond; all of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Linda Trisdale of Blair, Nebraska; Lisa Stricklett of Missouri Valley, Iowa; five granddaughters; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons; sister: Sharon Kay Brockman of Nevada, Missouri; brothers: Donald Aldredge, Bobby Aldredge both of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Steven Aldredge of Carollton, Missouri.
