Area Lake Owner Dies At Age Of 60
James Clarence Sartain, 60, owner of Lake Ardendra near Coker, died yesterday afternoon at his home there. His death came just a week after that of his brother, Lee, who died last Friday at Druid City Hospital. Funeral services will be announced by Jones and Spigener Funeral Home.

Final Rites Set For J. C. Sartain
Funeral services for James Clarence Sartain, 60, who died Thursday at his home on Coker Rt. 1, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jones and Spigener Chapel with burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jim and Mills Baughman, Winston Baughman, Darrell and Victor Lee Smith and Ernest Mills. Honrary pallbearers will be John Smelley, Sid Ward, Felton Watkins, O.D., Virgil and Sidney Dillard, Shelley Hughes, Joe Burns, J.E. Hughes, Dr. Maxwell Moody Jr., and C. L. Lamb. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, a brother, one sister and two grandchildren.
