Jim was the son of Henry Cloyd "Bill" Bridwell and Lela Bernice Fowler Bridwell. He married Mary Frances Carter on June 29 1941 in Eastland Texas. They had three children. Jim was a Veteran of World War II. After WWII he went to work for General Foods and spent his entire professional career with them.

BRIDWELL - JAMES EDWARD 'JIM'
James E. (Jim) Bridwell, 81, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2003, following an extended illness. Jim was born at his grandparents' home in Rogers, AR on June 13, 1921. He and Mary Carter Bridwell married on June 29, 1941. Jim was a Veteran of World War II, a member of the Delta Masonic Lodge No. 425 in 1Llsa, OK for 45 years and he worked for General Foods for 38 years, retiring in June 1986. He and his family were transferred to Albuquerque in 1966 and continued to live here after his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Bridwell; three children, Judith Sanders, Ginger Huntley, and David Bridwell and wife, Natalie; six grandchildren, Michael Sanders, Kimberly Crawford, Grant Huntley, Jessica Bridwell, Ryan Bridwell, and Mark Bridwell; and seven great-grandchildren. Throughout their married life, Jim and Mary welcomed and nurtured all people who came into their lives and he is loved and will be missed by all.
Services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2003, 2:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul, NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. NE, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NM, 216 ltuman NE, 87108.
