Lloyd G. Roberts of Frankford, formerly of Ocean View, Wilmington and Claymont, Delaware passed away suddenly on November 19, 2012 at Beebe Medical Center Hospital.
He was 78 years old. Born in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Griffith L. Roberts and the late Margaret K. Roberts (nee Knight).
He was the beloved husband of Dolores A. Roberts (nee. Ferrari); father of Sharon Bailor and her husband Frank and Susan Genereux and her husband Matthew; step-father of Sam Trasatti and his wife Geraldine (Jo); grandfather of Samantha Trasatti, Camille Trasatti, Victoria Bailor, Sophia Genereux, Frankie Bailor, Pierce Genereux and Soleil Genereux; brother of Griffith Roberts and his wife Marion. Lloyd will be deeply missed by his poodles, Angel & Ginger.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania (610.388.6070 tel.). A viewing for Lloyd will be at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Monday morning from 10AM until 11AM.
Burial will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Linwood, Pennsylvania.
A memorial service for Lloyd in Sussex County, Delaware will be announced at a later date.
