Funeral services for Charles Duey, 5 (sic) years old of Boslertown, who died last night in the Carlisle Hospital several hours after he fell from a house roof in Carlisle on which he had been working, will be held from his late residence tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be made in the Old Graveyard at the county seat.
Duey was at work on the roof of a house owned by Dr. E.K. Lefever, 630 South Hanover street (sic), when his foot slipped and he fell to the porch below, a distance of about 15 feet. He was taken to the Carlisle Hospital where it was found that his skull had been fractured.
Mr. Duey, who is a tinner, worked for a number of years in Harrisburg, and is well known in Cumberland County. He was a member of the Union Band and formerly connected with Company G, National Guard of Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife.
