IRWIN - George Whitman Irwin, 70 years old died last night at his home, 2617 Askew avenue. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna B. Irwin, two sons, James Irwin and Clyde Irwin, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Hancock and Miss Veta Irwin, all of the home and a brother, A. Haggerty, 1231 Rales avenue. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow at Mrs. C.L. Forster's chapel, 918 Brooklyn avenue.

My father, George Irwin, was out walking toward Brushy Creek. A robber hit him on the head, knocked him out, and took all of his money and a picture of his granddaughter. That evening we were notified and my two brothers went to the hospital and brought Dad home. He said he felt fine. My father died suddenly and quickly the next morning from a fractured skull.
