Mr. Robert “Bob” Jerry Algee, 78, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Danny Carter Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan, TN. Brother Morgan Arnold will officiate the services.
Mr. Algee was born August 18, 1931, in Milan, Tennessee. He was a Vietnam Veteran having retired from the Air Force and owner of Bob’s Gulf Service Center in Huntingdon. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Verdie Vawter Algee and an infant son, Robert Jerry Algee.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Algee, a daughter, Bobbie Sue (Donald) Kildebeck, of Paris, TN, a son, Robert Jerry (Barbara) Algee, III, of Huntingdon, TN, a sister, Juanita Taylor, of Milan, TN. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Jennifer Arrington, Susie Watson, Machelle Johnson, Lisha Cardwell, Donald Kildebeck, Jr., Craig Kildebeck, Scott Kildebeck, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
