Ida Coggins Ford arrived on July 7, 1916 and departed on June 24, 2012. For those of you who might wish to visit with her in the future, her new address will be Rt. 1, Heaven, and should you need directions, Mom would probably say something like this. "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the Power of God unto salvation." Maybe after a short thought she would have completed the directions by this, "If thou wilt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead thou shall be saved." So friend, that is the only route to Heaven. Mom was preceded in death by her husband Cebo Ford, Daddy and Mother Ben and Mary Coggins and all of her 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 5 children Gail Ford Wright, Dan Ford, Peggy Ford Harrison, Jerry Ford and Mary Alice Ford Steelman, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Brother John Rush and Brother Dave Tereul officiating. Interment will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday at Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00a.m. – 12:00 noon prior to the service at the funeral home.

Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ford family.
