Q'Bell Crawford, 70, of Steele, Mo., died Friday, November 24, 1995, in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Sunday, June 20, 1925, at Steele, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Emma Wade Nichols.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Nichols and Bill Nichols.

On September 6, 1941 at Blytheville, Ark., she was united in marriage with Raymond M. Crawford, who preceded her in death.

A member of the Assembly of God Church in Steele, she was a cook and homemaker.

Mrs. Crawford leaves two sons: Raymond Crawford and Allen Crawford, both of Steele; one daughter, Wanda Lee, of Gonzales, Texas; a brother, Talbert Nichols of Jonesboro, Ark.; two sisters: Myrtle Hutcheson of Ridgely, Tenn. and Artie Grissom of Steele; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Crawford were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 1995, at the First Assembly of God Church in Steele, with Rev. Harold Tackett officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Fred Albright.

Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele in charge.

Pallbearers were Howard Haynes, Jerry Powell, Glen Flood, Britt Grice, Seabe Wright, and Charles Clark.
