13 January 1834 between James Roman County of Daviess State of KY sells to Hillery Hagan of the County of Spencer State of KY for the sum of $1200 dollars 2 adjoining tracts 227 acres & 362 acres located in Stanley, Daviess County KY. Lancaster Hagan Burying Ground today known as Lancaster Cemetery is located on this property.

5 April 1834 Hilary Hagan & wife Ann C. his wife of the County of Spencer State of KY sell to Beverly Prewit 117 acres on Big Beech Creek in Spencer Co KY for $1404.

30 June 1836 Hillary Hagan & wife Ann C. sell 145 acre tract in Daviess Co KY to Ann C. Lancaster's half brother Nicholas Miles "N.M." Lancaster.

6 July 1840 Assignment of Dower Grantor Hillary Hagan deceased to Grantee Anna 85 acres of land being her dower right plus the mansion house leaving 359 acres residue of estate to go to the heirs. Survey of land left from Hillary Hagan intestate 85 acres plus mansion set aside for dower & remaining 359 acres being surveyed separately.

Webb in his work "Centenary of Catholicity in Kentucky" states that the first St. Peter's Church was built at Grissom's Landing in Daviess Co KY by Rev. Ivo Schacht, who was pastor of St. Stephen's in Owensboro KY. The first Catholic settlers in the neighborhood of Grissom Landing were Miles Lancaster, David Wade, George Mattingly, E.C. Berry, Bernard Kelly, & Hilary Hagan. In 1876 the number of communicants in the congregation of St. Peter's stood at 125. The first baptismal entry is 8 February 1874 & contains the name Elizabeth Stivers (niece of Ann C. Hagan nee Lancaster wife of Hilary Hagan). This History of St Peter's Parish was written by a parishioner of St Peter Catholic Church for Mr. Hagan, Righteous Reverend, Reverend Fathers & Fellow Parishioners. This paper is located in a private collection at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Stanley, Daviess Co, KY.
