Mrs. Virgie Ruth Williams Adams, age 85, of Villa Rica, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. She was born February 2, 1927 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Mosie Thomas Williams and the late Mrs. Nonnie Defnall Williams. She worked as a seamstress for many years. Mrs. Adams was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Bud" Adams; brother, Larry Williams and son-in-law, Jimmy McInvale.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Grady Carter of Dallas, Madge McInvale of Villa Rica, Kathy and Al Reger of Winston; son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Sandra Adams of Buchanan; sisters, Dorothy Priest of Villa Rica, Louella McClury of Lithia Springs; brothers, Lovie Williams of Douglasville, Donald Williams of Villa Rica and Jerry Williams of Lithia Springs; six grandchildren, Shawn McInvale of Carrollton, Kris and Charity McInvale of Bremen, Cindy and Jimmy Williams of Tallapoosa, Brandon Reger of Winston, Heather Adams of Dallas and Eric Adams of Dallas; six great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
