Mary Redis Stilts

HORSE CAVE – Mary Redis Stilts, 84, a native of Hart County, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Britthaven of Bowling Green at 2:20 p.m.

She was a devoted and loving wife to the late L.A. (Beans) Stilts and mother of Pat and Ronnie.

She was a daughter of the late Clyde Lile and Pearl Bastin Lile.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Verna Burns, Edith Littrell, Landus Hiser and Addis Young; and two brothers, Luther Lile and Gordon Lile.

She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where she lived a life of service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She extended that service to the church and members of the community.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat Stilts Love and husband, Coleman, of Elizabethtown; a son, Ronnie Stilts and wife, Connie, of Franklin; three grandchildren, Jennifer Stone, Jason Love and Cathy Love; two great-grandchildren, Lindsey Stone and Ellen Siobhan Love; one sister, Dixie Taskey, of Columbus, Ind.; one brother, James Lile, of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, under the direction of Winn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Houk Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home and will begin at 12 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Shady Grove Baptist Church.
