On May 4, 1929 in Walkerton, Nina married George Anderson, who preceded her in death on May 1, 1969. Nina earned her teaching degree in 1928 and later taught for several years at a private Christian school. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. Nina moved back to the South Bend area in 2003 coming from Florida and Texas, where she lived since 1967.
Nina is survived by one son, Clinton J. Anderson of Zellwood, FL; four grandchildren, Denise (David) Scroggs, Daina (Darel) Kubasak, Perry (Judy) Anderson and Dirk (Marina) Anderson; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren: many beloved nieces and nephews and her extended family. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia L. Lovins; one great grandson, Army Specialist Jared Kubasak; five sisters, Mary, Martha, Birdie, Velma and Doris; and three brothers, Curby, Herman and Woodrow Cochran.
